I am Brandon Deck and this is my second year in Gita. In my first year in Gita we learned how to code in CSS. We made games, store programs, and other many interesting programs. This year we are learning how to code in HTML and JavaScript, which are very interesting languages to learn. My future career goals are, trying to be the best I could be at what im doing, trying to get a good job in my career, and be known for what I do. I am taking 2 AP classes this year, they include: AP Computer science principles, and AP Precalculus. The Gita program is about learning how to create programs with code, and using what you learned to create other programs. Not only is Gita about coding, but it also makes you critically think about certain problems that you run into. It helps train your brain for bigger problems that you may face. I belong to two clubs, and they are: Spanish club, and I am the secretary of the fragrance club at my school. I have been in the spanish club for 2 years, and now have a special role in a club I love to be in. I have been involved in two community services, they are: being an assistant coach for a 10u hockey team, and I have also helped in 4 eagle scout projects. |
